Where are you off to Mark?

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Looking forward to seeing how you do your new trophy room. Is there anything that you plan on doing differently?

I plan on replicating what I had already done. Nothing different I think.

Cheers,
Mark.

Seeing the insulation going up on the walls, just wanted to make sure you didn't plan on using open cell foam on the ceiling. Closed cell foam is the very best thing to use, but extremely expensive. Some contractors will try to get a client to use open cell instead because it's so much cheaper. The problem is that open cell holds moisture and it will cause the metal roof to rust out.

If you are going with fiberglass batts, or something similar, try to lower the ceiling if you can so you can get at least a foot of thickness. More is better. I'm doing a small room for my wife to clean, process and can what she grows in her garden, and I ran another 2x6 under my existing rafters to get more space for insulation. It lowered the ceiling a little, but the added insulation is a lot more important to me.
