BakesWOW quite a collection mate. Love all the buff skull mounts.

A mate of mine has just told me he's shagging his girlfriend and her twin. I said "How can you tell them apart?" He said "Her brother's got a moustache!"

Wall Pedestal Mount. Sometimes the offside leg does look a bit weird.

Yes ...2002...shot both my Chamois and Thar in the Clarke and the Reds near Waimate.
The best scoring Red Deer I shot in Victoria and is the one with the Thar in the same photo.
My first Red is the clean 14 facing straight on.

Really should have had it full mounted. I wanted it to look like it was standing on its hind legs. You often see them feeding in this position when you hunt them and it is unique.
Great memories!!

Both can be costly! I guess you could "shoot" a trophy again, but you can definitely "kill" another bottle there.

George,
Most of the work , especially the African mounts, was done by Lifeform Taxidermy in South Africa.
Rowdy Woodson from Woods and Water in Houston did the full mount Sable and Roan Pedestal.
All the Australian and NZ mounts were done by Gary Pegg at South Pacific.
Glad you like them

fairgameI recognise a few good animals there mate.
Dunno where you are going to put a big Zambian Lion? You might have to put that other pussy cat in the garage.
And I suggest a little Leopard to fill in the odd gap.
Those Aussie buff make spectacular mounts.

Hi Thierry.
Shot my LDE in Cameroon in late March. He did have a black neck but I had very bad hairslip on the cape. By the time it got to the taxidermist in South Africa that was all they could save.
Yes, all Javan Rusa from New Caledonia. Have hunted there 3 times and you can take two stags per trip. Just the most incredible deer hunting with great numbers of deer.
Glad you liked the room.
