Very nice room.

I especially like the contrast of dark trim, dark floors, and white (nearly white?) walls.

Elegant in a quiet way.

What are the approximate dimensions of your room?

Ahh, the elusive trophy wife! Your most expensive trophy, no doubt.

I am glad I married my trophy wife first! Trophy Wife 2.0 or heaven forbid, 3.0 is outrageously expensive from what I have been told !!!!!!!!

Again, very nice room. We are looking at adding on to our house and I was curious what size your room is. thanks.

Great trophy room. I just love the way the African trophies are displayed with a mix of Euro and regular mounts along with the African shields and artifacts. great deer, bear and over all layout.

Assume your house in contemporary Tudor style architecture? I always thought that style was the perfect setting for African or European game - sort of a British Officer's estate home from the first half of the 20th century.

I thought of building a second story onto my garage, but it would cost the price of a new house (albeit a smaller house than I have, but you get the picture). Two solutions I have come up with. Turn the guest bedroom into a trophy room; it's 16x14 with 12' ceilings and is attached to my library (16x18) where I have some of trophies now. Between the guest roomy and library is a 10' connecting hallway with a full bath on one side and two big closets on the other side (thought of turning one into a walk-in safe). But with 4 kids, this would eliminate the guest bedroom (which we use quite often) - so would have to wait until my son is on college (and make his room the guest room).

The other option, sell the current house and buy a smaller house and build an attached (walk way or something) "Man House" like many of you have for my study, trophies, and sporting items.

And then I could pull the trophies I have the rest of the house (family room and great room) into the larger or second trophy room.
