I will soon have to make a decision on the type of form for my buffalo shoulder mount. My trophy room has high ceilings and the spot picked out for the buffalo will be about 10-12 ft. off the floor. My question is which form? Head tilted down or up.

Head down. You will get a much better view of the animal.

Absolutely first-rate, IMHO. The effort to retain original texture and color is very evident. I wonder if a photograph was used? More taxidermists should require good photos from their clients and make use of them. All too many just bring out the black spray paint. From what I have seen, we have a number of excellent taxidermists at "AR". thumb

mount was done by john george at creative concepts taxidermy in jessup, md. one interesting bit of info-you can have your raw skins, horns ,etc shipped directly to him at Baltimore Int Airport and he will clear them through for you for free- no brokers fee.
