I spent a bunch of time with Tom Julian at the DSC convention talking about my new trophy room. His work is fantastic. But, I think I'm a small fish for the quality of his work and doubt I can afford it. Is there anyone else I should get with?

I had a look at their work a couple of years ago at SCI in Reno. You're right it is fantastic. As for anyone else to have a look at I'm sorry I can't answer that.

Scott:

Any competent finish carpenter or cabinet maker can give you the "Julian" appearance at a fraction of the Julian cost.

Safari-Lawyer is right.
Julian does a great job of design work. The carpenters do the job and you can find someone locally to do it for a lot less.

That is exactly what I did. The same company that did my custom cabinets designed my built-in bookshelves/gun racks. The general layout was my idea.

I just filled two walls with book cases and books about Africa, various shooting disciplines, and world history (mostly military history) and kept moving my game heads until it suited me.

Tan paint with a couple darker shades of brown applied with a sponge. Lots of pictures and prints, and a couple of bullet/cartridge boards.

It is amazing how simple comfortable can be. A friend used T-51, a plywood finished to resemble tongue and groove siding stained dark walnut for contrast. Half height sheets and lots of track lights.
