Here's the newest addition to my room. I think it adds some good balance to the normal North American horns and heads.

I've never seen a crocodile skin before! That is a unique trophy.

Nice! I hadn't considered that type of mount for any of the flat dogs. Now you've got me thinking about another croc. Hmmm! Can I ask who did the work and how big the gator is?

Mark,
John Walker Taxidermy in Florida.
http://www.johnwalkergators.com/default.htm did the work and I would recommend him...all he does is lizards. I'm sure He would do a fine job with a crocodile too.

My gator is 11 ft 9 1/2in. and currently #2 SCI in the muzzleloader catagory.

I'd say somewhere in the range of 50 lbs.

So it's roughly $100 per foot for that style of rug. Interesting.

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."
