Contact Dennis Harris of the Artistry of Wildlife. He in the membership listing. I would have the skins examined to make sure they are bug proof. The man you need to contact is Jack Jonas. He is a professional taxidermy appraiser whose appraisals will hold up much better in any legal arena than a taxidermists opinion. I am often asked to place value on old taxidermy rugs and even though I have been in the industry 20 years, this is not my field of expertise. Jack has backed up his appraisals in court when necessary. I believe this is your go to guy for this task. Here is his contact info: Jack Jonas 13952 E. for what i know the price of Legal ("pre ban", like your) Ivory (tusk, not piece) some time ago was about in 50-60 usd/lbs. Bigger tusks pay more. I think your set can go for 7-10000 USD. D.V.M. | |||
