If your zip doesn't show when I update it on Friday, then email me so I don't leave you out of the order.

I called Lee, they misplace my order so I sent in another one for 45 molds.
I've had several people still want the 30TL, so I'm thinking that the others will go when the order comes in.

I'll wait a couple more days to see if you hear from Lee before I send the cheque, but I'm in.

We shortened it to 1.0" long from a longer 1.10" long and the weight went down from 190 to the 160-175 neighborhood.

Go up to the top of the tread, copy out the order form and put a check in the mail TODAY and Lar 45 might still take it.

You certainly can't wait much past Tues-Weds of this week because of the snail mail time lag involved.

Thanks for the correction Oldfeller. Sure hope I didn't steer anybody wrong with the "190 grn" estimate. Being I'm a rookie at this I should be leaving such answers to those who helped with the design.

Recently I have been playing around with developing a "Cast Bullet Picture Drawing" software module. Depending on how it integrates, it may or may not be used in a new, comprehensive cast bullet software database. This program also does a fair job of calculating the weight of the bullet for various alloys. The software will not yet handle multiple crimping grooves, so the lower crimp groove was just entered as a lube groove. The calculated weight for wheel-weight alloy, without a gas check, is 194 grains.

Compared with other samples that have been tested, that should be a fairly close weight to the finished casting, however, according to Oldfeller's posting, the resulting weight would be considerably lower. Oh well, I'll know when the little brown truck delivers the mould.

If anyone is interested, there are some preview screen snaps of the software and some of the resultant drawings on the TMT Enterprises website.

Any comments, suggestions or criticisms are welcome.

I believe the original target weight discussed was 190 grns when cast of W/W alloy.

Hope this helps,

Dutch, don't say you were wrong just yet, we have folks doing volumetric analysis saying you are closer than I was. If so, GREAT -- I like a heavier bullet anyway.

Wow with a BC estimate also. Looks like fun. What did it come up with a BC estimate for the Fat30?
I got a pile of checks in the mail today. I'll post an updated list soon.

I've got a Marlin 30/30 micro, and 2- M1917 enfields.

Can I still get one?

I just discovered that the first website screen snap was not the Fat 30 bullet input data that I intended to post there. The mistake has now been rectified. The snap also shows that the Estimated B.C. is approximatly 0.2403
