We moved to the Lyman Sabot Shocker. It makes a very nice 12 ga slug, that looks like a wasp waisted hollowbase air rifle pellet. Coincidentally, it weighs 530gr, as in 1 and an 8th oz. Starting trap loads work. 1750fps is where it starts torching wad bases.

Nothing beats sitting in front of a lead pot at 700-degrees...

We need more info! Pictures would be nice too. I bought a cheap Chinese single shot shotgun to play around with (was going to fit a silencer to it which hasn't happened yet). I have thought about slugs for it but would like a decent accuracy with subsonic at least.
