mould for pouring paper patch bullets?? Seems like a few years back someone was still makeing this mould and it was not that high priced? Been starting to read Pual Matthews THE PAPER JACKET. < !--color--> | ||

gregg, I remember a fellow in Pa. by the name of Fred Cornell that can make a PP mould. (He charged $90.00 a few years ago.) I had a friend that ordered a Shiloh Sharps in 50/140 cal. but did not specify a twist rate when he placed his order. When the rifle arrived two plus years later, he had trouble with accuracy and did not understand the problem. The twist rate would not stabilize the first bullets he tried. He called Fred, and drove down and spent HOURS with him. Said friend ended up with an adjustable 50cal. PP mould that was a thing of beauty...even casted a few here. Maybe someone here can lead you to him, as my friend moved away, and I do not have Fred`s phone number. | |||
