two hours...
casting, and I was dragging. 90-degrees outside, 130 sitting in front of two 20lb pots for two hours. Eighty Lyman 12 gauge Sabot Shocker hollow base 530gr (20:1) slugs for my baby 12 GA From Hell; and a little over a hundred 350gr RCBS GC 416 slugs (ww+1% tin) for the CZ Rigby...after culling.
Now to get the 416's sized and lubed, and gaschecks seated.
H-O-T!!!

Any of you guys cast for 416?

I am again indebted to Boomstick for posting the "necessaries" for creating your own little 12 Gauge From Hell starting loads. I have a Savage 210 in basic black, and this slug has seen 1850fps from the rifle/shotgun and sub 2" groups at 100yds. Three shot groups, because the mag holds two and one in the chamber, and no whitetail is going to give me time to reload. Use 1 1/8oz shot cups and start with top end trap loads...1400fps or so; and work your way up to your recoil limits or blown shot cups. I haven't gotten to the stage where I had to switch to 1 3/8oz shot cups and cut them down. The 1850fps load has harvested one whitetail deer for my brother and I down on the Snake River where it is muzzle loader or shotgun with slugs or buckshot. Cast of 20:1 lead/tin alloy they mike .672" as cast.
