Most of the really big hogs you see look a lot like domestic hogs. I'm sure that most of these hogs are very recent decendents of domestic hogs and some of them were probably even in some farmers pen earlier in their life. | |||

Not necessarily. Pure Russian hogs can get well over 500 lbs. and I have seen them over 600 lbs. DAM.... that thing is huge!!!! i wonder if they needed a permit to drive the car on the road being 2 ft wider than normal!!!!! got a mate on the south island has been whinging about pigs ripping up his farm.... may need to pay a visit! | |||

I don't in any way dispute that this pig is not too many generations feral but I believe that the color on it's nose is blood.Also look at the erect ears.I always suspect a floppy eared pig as more likely to be RECENTLY LIBERATED. We seldom get to choose But I've seen them go both ways And I would rather go out in a blaze of glory Than to slowly rot away! | |||
