Killed by some hunters in New Zealand. It weighed in at 533 lbs...dressed, presumably.

Most of the really big hogs you see look a lot like domestic hogs. I'm sure that most of these hogs are very recent decendents of domestic hogs and some of them were probably even in some farmers pen earlier in their life.

Not necessarily. Pure Russian hogs can get well over 500 lbs. and I have seen them over 600 lbs. However, this one is obviously very much crossed with a domestic pig.

eyedocI don't in any way dispute that this pig is not too many generations feral but I believe that the color on it's nose is blood.Also look at the erect ears.I always suspect a floppy eared pig as more likely to be RECENTLY LIBERATED.
