Went for a sit and as I drove in, I saw a sounder of about 30 across the fence on the neighbor's land so didn't take a shot. Got set up, feeder spun at 8, pig arrived at 8:15 and hit the dirt at 8:20 with a .22-250 in the brain pan. Weighed 170.

Since the first of the year, I've trapped or shot about 25 and only 3 sows. I've had pictures of sows at the feeders, but just not when I'm there. I'm feeling a bit discriminated against because I'm an equal-opportunity pig killer! archer flame

Not only that you need to cull the flock by killing more sows.

Solo pigs get shot, regardless if boar or sow. If a sounder comes in, I'll pick a sow if I can.

I once owned an almost identical rifle except it was stainless with a wood stock. Traded it for a 20 gauge Winchester 101. What was I thinkin?
