I had one on camera. Now I have two green self contained lights on my feeder. A really bright one that just stays on for 3 hrs. The dimmer one is on till the battery dies. Dim on the left, both come on at dusk. Feeder spins at nine deer show up. Suddenly the deer bolt! Pig walks around he front of the feeder to the left side. Hangs around the left side fence and the feeder leg. A little before ten the bright light times out! Pig is all over the feeder pen. So much for they can not see green! He clears the objects and I touch one off. It knocks him down but the shot startles two deer which then stop between me and the pig! Pig finds his feet and explodes in a cloud of dust. No blood, tissue or clumps of fire ants on such. The dove, tea, goat (or what you prefer to call it) weed is thick down there so I went back this morning to look better. He made it 50 yards before head on with a live oak tree. Tree won. 250 grain 375 Sierra Game King entered a little high on the front of the shoulder blade.(I am shooting down) Exited the bottom of the opposite flank. I know the 300 grainers are very tough bullets but with three runners I am wondering if Sierra changed the construction of the 250s to the same. ![]()

Bobby--you sure have some different colors on your pigs than I see in Belmont and Seguin--the ones I see are 90+% black with an occasional brown or grey streak. An old pilot, not a bold pilot, aka "the pig murdering fool"

I believe LiveOak took this one in DeWitt County. If so, that's just one county over, but here, too, most are solid black. It's rare that I see anything different out here. The 2nd most common coloration here is reddish-brown. Bobby Μολὼν λαβέ The most important thing in life is not what we do but how and why we do it. - Nana Mouskouri

I have taken them as black, brown, white with black and brown spots, gray, white and black with a white strip under the chin. Shades of black and black with the white strip under chin are most common.

Aw, heck. Thats nothing. I have sent texts to people I didn't intend to -- and have done that on more than one occasion. I have a habit of waiting until I go to bed to return texts, and sometimes, I forget my glasses in the bathroom. A few times, I was too lazy to get up and get them and then wound up texting the wrong people LOL. I think George here on the forum has even been a recipient of one of them a while back. That's common for me. Among the typos!! Had to get the tower cleaned out as yahoo was sending to half dozen or more when sending private notes. Cost me a gf once too. Another time on messenger a local friend at work and I spent hours just bs'ing. My dau in Canberra got it all. Of course she had been discussed too. Glad there was distance that time, she bigger than me! I know better than trying to do banking on these things after all those happenings.
