while I have no data on if it was in a high fence, there is a pic, in the men's johnny at the basspro shop, in houston, of an 1165# hog, taken in mongolia (i don't know if it's slang for something) from a swampbuggy....

it looked like a harry hippo

My hog hunting is very limited, however the guys I hunt with use dogs and chase them down and hand cuff them and haul them to a sale barn.

Occasionally they shoot one too big to "cuff" and I must say the breakfast sausage from them is very good stuff.

Of all the ranchers I've talked to and other hunters, the biggest one they've personally seen was a trifle over 400 pounds.....although they talk about the "really big ones" just like folks in Wisconsin talk about muskys over eight feet.
