I prefer a bowie knife with a thick blade and carbon steel. "THICK & HEAVY" is my motto with knives used for sticking boars because I usually put them through a beating and I want to make sure they hold up. Cody Weiser

The one I last used was a Muela bowie with a 8.5 inch blade. Relatively inexpensive, very sharp and holds a good edge. "When you play, play hard; when you work, don't play at all." Theodore Roosevelt
