Something similar was posted recently and very interesting to see. Warthogs were introduced into the Eastern Cape of RSA and are a big problem in some places.
However, they are very different to your feral hogs, will not interbreed and are almost entirely herbivores and also diurnal.

I think that is illegal in Texas??, I know DG from Africa was at one time and I suspect it still is, but not sure what comes under the category of DG there....I would much prefer the country over run with Warthogs to Feral hogs, that's for sure.

Elephant, Lion, Tiger, Hippo, Rhino are illegal to hunt in texas. Wart Hogs could just go through LIVESTOCK channels to get here.
