Pocket camera battery dead, chin can has hole rusted in it, crane scale batteries dead. It has been a long time. Two pigs visiting my feeder! This one comes early, bigger one is after midnight, I think he is green light shy. Sat last night, about 8:30 ( feeder spins at 9) he walked between the feeder and my tower! Shot looked good, sounded right, he seemed to react but ran at me to my right. Suppressed 375 Ruger too many trees for a second shot. He was headed to kind of a funnel opening in some thick yaupon, funnel ends under a few limbs in a deep gully. Gully ends in main creek. I heard him thrashing around so I thought he ran out of gas before the gully. Waited for the feeder to spin and then went to look for him. No luck but looked again this morning. Walked by him twice!
No scale. Exit side.

Yep. Still a nice one.
Just wondered if it was healthy. The dark hair may have made it look flat.

Very fat! Grapes are falling, black persimmons are ripe, it's getting dry but still stuff to eat around. They are just not visiting my feeder much.
