I am quite decided to buy an IOR 4x32 to be mounted on my MArlin 1895 (45-70) but would like to pass the ultimate control test: AR forums advice

Anyone out there owns/owned/hunted with this scope ???
My concern is about light gathering, since I would use this combo for hunting pigs at night (no artificial light as aid) ...

Any comments / advice would really be appreciated !!!

I'm in the market for one as well. Some of them have the a lock screw to hold the adjustment on heavy kickers. I think this would be good for a 45-70.
There is also an IOR with an smaller objective 26mm? in 1-4 power, which is what I'm probably going to go with.
I've heard the light gathering is as good as Zeiss, and I've yet to hear anything bad about them--all reasons why I'd get one. They'll probably go up in price if their reputation remains as such.
