Well I got around to cooking some of the hog donated to me by Gatorgordo and his son and just wanted to say thanks and I hope I am lucky enough to share a campfire with them again some day. Also the rest of the crew as well. Jeffeosso, Bob, Sasquatch,GeeDubya, and Mike. Thanks again guys for letting a non-Texan join your campfire.

Hey, every group needs one token Yankee.......
you're better than most, which can be taken anywhich way.....

Actually, enjoyed visiting with you immensely and appreciated your knowledge of shotgunning.

I dunno what you'd be doing in NE Texas but if you're in the area you are ordered to come by my place and we'll shoot something. I have some friends that have hunting yankees in their blood..... clap beer

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

Thanks Gatogordo and I will take you up on that sometime I hope. It was great talking shotgunning with you as well and we probably crossed paths somewhere in the past while we were competing. You have a very strong knowledge of gunning and it is obvious that you have been there and done that when you speak.
And I must say once again Adam is a fantastic young man and a formidable hunter.

I picked up my Axis meat in Junction on the way home from Ozona this week. I have the grill fired up and some tenderloin marinating.

I am getting hungry!

I look forward to hunting with all of you again!!

Bob,
not quite axis, but this evening I fixed lemon pepper pork loin, along with salad greens, green beans, corn on the cob and garlic bread.
Topped it off with a little paisano.
Not too shabby.
