Went to Tennessee over the weekend. Took a hog with Glock 20 shooting 180 grainers. Had fun and put pork in the frig. Take care, Tom

Nice hog, Spencer! Congratulations! Did you by chance weigh him? "Ignorance you can correct, you can't fix stupid." JWP If stupidity hurt, a lot of people would be walking around screaming. Semper Fidelis "Building Carpal Tunnel one round at a time"

Didn't get a chance to weigh him but I did get 17 pounds of ribs butchered up so far. Will butcher up the rest this weekend, turkey hunting permitting.

Unless it has been changed, which is easy to do, it is a 10mm

My glock 20 is still a 10 mm, with aftermarket 6 inch barrel. My loads are heavy loads using IMR 800 X pushing a 180 grain Rainer truncated bullet. Both shots went completely thru. Tom

Do you know the approximate velocity? If I am correct it is about as hot as a 357 or 41 magnum. Swede --------------------------------------------------------- NRA Life Member

The velocity was is around 1250 FPS. Not exactly 41 magnum level but definately worked well on hogs. One of the other hunters was using a 44 magnum. It took him four shots. Its all in shot placement, baby.

Congratulations on a fine hunt and a fun way to do it. My friend in Argentina, Juan Pozzi, has used his Glock 40 S&W with great success on hogs as well. "When you play, play hard; when you work, don't play at all." Theodore Roosevelt
