UPS man delivered the missing link today, my Hydro Dipped stock. Stock was a mess and will need to be redone (whole other story), but at least I can get to work.

Its a Howa 1500, 1-8" 16 Brux barrel in 300 Whisper. SWR Trident suppressor. Shooting Hornady 225 BTHP's at 1050fps. Airgun quiet.

Just finished loading the new 225's. Looks funny when projectile is longer than the case.

Will be very interested in the effectiveness you see on piggies.

My 16" 300 BLK on a Black Rain Ordnance upper/lower pair took a doe this year at 60 yards. Was 220 gr SMKs at 1025 fps suppressed with an SAS Ti Arbiter 30 cal can.

Was a drop on shot hit in the neck. Projectile exited the offside moving sideways.

Very interested in how it might work on piggies.

Nice-looking rifle.

I don't know anything about this round so I looked it up in "Cartridges of the World" and the only thing I could find was the 225 Winchester but that's a 3000+ fps small bullet - it doesn't look like yors.

Can you please help with this? Are you shooting a .225 bullet at a very slow velocity?

Sorry for my ignorance.

Its a .308 225 grain projectile. I have killed a few smaller pigs with it. Very quiet, I had a double with it last year before I had it all gussied up.

Look under 300/221 , 300 Whisper, or 300 BLK all about the same.

Thank you! I was sadly confused!

Was it difficult to get the moderator permit?

Not really a permit, just have to pay a tax.

That is a really sharp looking rifle! Airgun quiet? Sounds like lots of fun!
