. Sat on a field of barley this evening hoping for a roe buck or a fox. Saw a fox but he saw me too and was gone in a flash. Nine roe does and kids on the field and around the edges. Around 22:45 an old sow crossed the field. Let her go. And then 10 minutes later this boy came out of the woods and started feeding some 25 m from my stand. A 55g .223 RWS soft behind the ear and he was down and out. Dressed out at 73 kgs! Freezers getting pretty full now!  . "Up the ladders and down the snakes!" | ||
