I have a chance to pick up one Weaver T-16 and also a Weaver T-24 for $250 each. They are both in "as new" condition.

The T-16 is in the original box and they both come with sunshades, screw-on lens covers, target knobs, and quick detach rings. It seems like a good deal, both scopes have the micro-trac internals, I just dont know what the market value is on these. Maybe some folks can tell me what they are worth.

My book on old scopes lists a T16 and a T25...but no T24.

It values the T16 at $150.00 to $200.00 and the T25 at $165.00 to $215.00.

The book was published in 2000 so I think its safe to assume the prices have risen a bit in six years, plus you are getting the rings with them.

All in all I’d say its a good deal, but not a great deal.

The older Weaver scopes are really well made and you get allot of quality for your dollar though.

IMO the target adjustments on Weavers are among the most reliable. Today's Weavers use the same system.
