I went to the range tonight with my 22-250 and somehow I managed to get a nick in the rear eyepiece. I was wondering if any of you would know what it might cost to have it repaired? BTW its a vxII 6x18

Nothing. Send it to Leupold. It has a lifetime warranty, no matter who owns it. Mike ______________ DSC DRSS (again) SCI Life NRA Life Sables Life Mzuri IPHA "To be a Marine is enough."

Just for clarification, did you nick the glass or the metal?

I understood the OP to mean the glass was scratched. If that's the case, Leupold will fix it.

Call Leupold and ask. They are excellent in terms of repairing optics - warranty or not. I once bought a Leupold on the Internet (mounted on a rifle). When the rifle/scope arrived, it transpired the scope center tube was bent. I'm not sure how that was possible, but Leupold refurbished the scope for me for (I believe) less than 100$. I did not complain. - mike ********************* The rifle is a noble weapon... It entices its bearer into primeval forests, into mountains and deserts untenanted by man. - Horace Kephart
