willimon1leupold nick
I went to the range tonight with my 22-250 and somehow I managed to get a nick in the rear eyepiece. I was wondering if any of you would know what it might cost to have it repaired? BTW its a vxII 6x18

LionHunterNothing. Send it to Leupold. It has a lifetime warranty, no matter who owns it.

willimon1Even If i am willing to pay for the new lense to replace the one I have? I know it was not leupolds fault I am willing to pay for it.
Just for clarification, did you nick the glass or the metal?

LionHunterI understood the OP to mean the glass was scratched. If that's the case, Leupold will fix it.
Call Leupold and ask. They are excellent in terms of repairing optics - warranty or not.
I once bought a Leupold on the Internet (mounted on a rifle). When the rifle/scope arrived, it transpired the scope center tube was bent. I'm not sure how that was possible, but Leupold refurbished the scope for me for (I believe) less than 100$. I did not complain.

willimon1DanM I nicked the rear glass or appears to be nicked. Wont clean off
I called leupold they said to send it in. The man on the phone said that leupold would contact me once they took a look at it and let me know how much it is going to cost to repair.

They may just fix it and send it back to you. Let us know what the outcome is.
