| You might try getting in touch with Conetrol at www.conetrol.com. They don't list your rifle but they can make custom bases for many unlisted models. Conetrol rings/bases are extremely strong. I have a vague recollection of a demonstration where they fired a .458 (don't recall how many shots) and the scope maintained zero even though attached with only one ring. They look good too. Very interesting rifle you have, not a lot of those LH Mathieus were ever made. |

| Do a dumpster dive into some old scope mount catalogs. The Mathieu was once listed in a few. I think its receiver profile matched another rifle. |

| Conifer- I have a Mathieu. The receiver profile matches the Remington 721. When Mathieu's were made, neither the Mark V nor the Rem 700 had yet seen the light of day. Regards, sbsmith |
