I have a VXIII 4.5-14x40mm that I mounted on my LVSF 223 m700.

How do I remove the elevation click adjustment top so I can instal the Stoney Point turret??

On VXII's they have a coin slot top, VXIII are solid top. I assume they can be popped off, but I want to make sure first.

thanks in advance,

TB

Todd:

Is your VariX III new? All of mine have a slotted top.

I know Tom Peterson, the founder of Stoney Point (he has since sold his company). Tom is a great guy, but those adjustment knobs were not his most brilliant idea: there is no rotation counter. If you need to click, get target knobs installed. Leupold can do it for you.

its a new VXIII, no slot top like the VARI X III

the SP turrets work well if you only need 15moa of lift, which is 750 yards or so with 260/223/30-06 Smiler
