That's funny. My wife will occasionally say, usually when I'm about to spend $$$ on hunting/guns, "you were never into hunting when I met you." My reply? "Yes I was...but I wasn't hunting animals."

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Yes, I too would become an urban stalker and spend most of the time hunting the elusive double breasted mattress thrasher. Undoubtedly more dangerous than hunting buffalo or elephant, but just as satisfying. For me that is - I know some of you guys are too far gone!
It is also possible to get into thick bush when urban stalking, if one doesn't jump the gun.

Boxing hammering

Not necessarily in that order, but that would probably get me through a week or so.

Another vote for sporting clays. It's a great challenge and there's something really fun about trying to take money from people who spent more on their shotgun than I will for a car.

I think if I couldn't hunt dangerous game anymore, and at 70 yrs old,I'm getting close to that state,as we speak!

I think I would like to film others hunting dangerous game! In fact I started to form a company, a few years ago, to do just that. I just couldn't stop hunting Buffalo long enough!

Just hunting in my back yard. Many many years ago an old friend of my father with whom we hunted with could not get into the woods to hunt, but he had a cabin in the woods and could drive there. He loved squirrel pot pie and didn't want others gifts. We would take him to the cabin and while we would be off hunting he would set in the living room of the cabin with the window raised a couple of inches and shoot squirrels in the trees near the cabin and we would collect and clean them when we returned from hunting. Yea I think it was OK and "fair chase" under the conditions.

Another Sporting Clays addict, but I spend more time shooting my pistols in my local club. In fact, I wish I could do more shooting of all types than I do.
