Hello folks,

I appolize if I'm posting in the wrong section but seems to fit.

Been over the pond a couple times now and for the next trip we would like to experience an Ele hunt. Only interested in T/L or a non expo bull and NO night hunting.

Thanks in advance

Another suggestion, do a search on the Hunt Reports section for tuskless and you will get a lot of good information. You will also see that some outfitters come up over and over on these hunts with very satisfied clients.

You can take a non-exportable bull or cow with tusks in Caprivi with us for about the cost of a tuskless. We've had another successful season this year already. Just drop me a line if I can sort something out for you. No night hunting.

I have to agree with R.jolly. I have only been to Africa once and it was with CMS taking a tuskless. I totally agree with others that there are some great outfitters in the same area or in areas afar, but I have to say Buzz and Myles do a great job. They treat you right, feed you like a king and hunt like the world may end tomorrow. Also a little known secret is if you stay at Matombo there is great fishing at the pump station. Not trying to sway you but its the real deal with them.

+1 a non exportable bull in the Caprivi can be hunted for about the same price as a tusk less cow elsewhere- and they are a LOT bigger!

I had a great hunt last year with Pro Safaries Africa out of Bulawayo. We hunted the Rifa concession and had to shoot two. one in defense when the herd charged us. Very exciting a very great trip. I've hunted with the Mullers for 25 years and it only gets better.

I recently returned from a Tuskless and Buffalo hunt with Martin Pieters in the Omay area of northern Zimbabwe. Great trip, lots of Elephant.
Took the Tuskless out of a herd of more than 40 animals, eight were Tuskless from what we could see.
PH was Bruce Cronje.

I took a tuskless in the Zambezi Valley with Ian Gibson and Chifuti Safaris last year. Great hunt, definitely a heart pumper. We had no trouble locating a herd with a tuskless cow in it, and after maybe 45 minutes to an hour of stalking and looking them over closely, were able to determine she had no dependent calf.

What a rush to be in among those incredible animals!

I recommend it.

Ditto as Buffnut. Did a tuskless in Chewore North with Chifuti and Ian Gibson in 2012. Got charged by the other eles in the herd after I dropped one. Luckily, we were downwind in thick stuff and only had to get a short ways out of their sight. PH Len Taylor described the tuskless hunts in that area as, "One shot and run like hell!" Will never forget it.
