I think Hornady are just brass with some lead squished into the base. | |||

Don, the blue "necrotic area" is just from tissue damage as the bullet blew through the large intestine. The elephant was just dead a few minutes when I took the photo. A FN would do even better. We were able to follow the bullet path of North Forks through the skull on all three shots. Nice big round hole each time. Will post a picture of that when I get a minute. Andy Andy | |||

I just checked some Hornady solids in 375 and 458. They do not react to a magnet while Woodleighs do. I guess that means the Hornady solids no longer have steel liners. 465H&H | |||
