There is a great story about a leopard hunt with John Hunt in the issue of Safari Club magazine that is going out right now. Page 26 titled The Perfect Predator by Frank Campana.

John Hunt is about the nicest and most compent hunter a guy could ask for. If he has a leopard alloted this late anyone who gets it will be darn luckey. I took a nice tom in '97 with him with Brian VanBlerk as my P.H. and almost took another in '03 down the street from him with another outfit but it was mid October and the game dept. cut the allotment for the next year in half. There are alot of big cats on Johns farm and that whole area.

That's a good value when it includes prebaiting and TF. What was the area and did somebody book it?

Hello fellas, John hunts in the area of West Nichelson on several farms, which are all beautiful and have lot's of cats. You cannot get a better leopard hunt. Best part is you will come home with your cat.
Like big Earl said, he is also a great guy, and you will have a wonderful time.

I spoke to John yesterday, and he told me that a client rcently took a monster 180lb male, that was all scarred up from fighting.

You can PM me if you want more info.

PS The above hunt was booked.

Hey Big Earl,

Nice cat! How much did he weigh?? Looks about the same as the one I took.

Do you remember who's farm you got him from?

Nope, dont remember which farm as we hunted half a dozen. I do remember we were north of Gwanda though and if you ask Brian or John which bait site Earl Baumann's leopard came from they can tell you outright. Next time I hit Zim it will be with John and Debbie again.
