folks -
i should have posted this yesterday ...its the show openner for a show that will air in a few weeks -

its centred around my good friend Rob Gustafson who was wounded on the front line - Trijicon stepped up and sent him on safari - and i was the very fortunate person who got to guide and thus get to know this humble and amazing guy !

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...eIs&feature=youtu.be

TrophyShot Prints on behalf of our AR Members honored Rob with a 16x20 Metallic Print of this hunt with Ivan.

It was an emotional Custom Enhanced TrophyShot Print Showpiece with Ivan and himself beside his buffalo.

And in doing so, I've had the privilege to speak with him on several occasions...Rob is an absolutely humble and remarkable and exceptional individual.

Big Congrats to all who made that safari possible tu2

All very good.
Not to hijack this great post. but, our own man Pagosawingnut just guided two wounded soldiers on successful elk hunts in his area of Colorado.
I've been waiting for a chance to publicly pat him in the back here. Hope its ok to do so on this thread. IF not, just del it.
Thank you,

George

Thanks to all who make the time to take our wounded veterans into the great outdoors, but special thanks to those that put their all on the line for love of country! Hurrah, hurrah, hurrah...

On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!
