Lots of guys have shot buffalo, at least on this site.

Far fewer are Naval aviators. I liked the old pic...

Because he looked at my Nasal Radiator picture and saw that I was more pretty.

Just 40 hours before "gear in the well" and I'm off to the Selous!

JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.

AZ: I don't know why. Maybe because as I near the end of my career, I just want to "let go" of that stuff. Not really flying much anymore, although the judge has a point with his great picture of him atop his "Scooter" A-4.Smiler jorge

D99: Operationally, I flew S-3A & Bs for most of my career, but I've logged hours in T-2s,TA-4s, T-39s and a few "joyrides" in F-16Ns, Tomcats, and F-4s. Total flight time is right at 2500 hours and 597 traps...and one Cape Buffalo! but who's counting! Smiler jorge

That's a beautiful picture!

We seldom get to choose
But I've seen them go both ways
And I would rather go out in a blaze of glory
Than to slowly rot away!

Great picure. You are correct, most of us in the S-3 world had to cope with NIGHT TRAPS, a whole different ballgame. THANKS A LOT, now you've depressed me Smiler From the looks of it, he appears a bit low. Also looks like a touch n' go as I can't see hook nor the lighted approach indexers. :::SIGH::: jorge
