I think it would be a shame to delete this thread. Locking it might be an idea if needed later if Saeed wants.

Ann started it in good faith to wish 500grains well, and if any of you remember, they had traded sharp words a couple of years ago. Hell bells I did too back then.

Lots of other members also wished 500grains well, 99% anyway.

I am sure Dan would like to see and read the 99% of members wishing him well. He did see some from Atlanta and Jo'burg on the way over.

And hopefully we do not have to see this level of disruption when he tries to tell his stories for which we eagerly await.

Funny thing about this entire thread is that poeple act so offended, so shocked, so emotionally perturbed, Saeed even chimes in with a metaphor...

But these threads always contain adversarial banter between many individual, they aren't thread s with one person talking to himself.

It is really sickening to see grown men pretend to act offended by shit they keep logging in to watch over and over and over and over...

How any arguments between myself and 500 or Nitro(fatazz) or between Cats and Mickey have to occur before members begin to get a pattern of the type if posts that will make up "said threads" stop acting so suprised or schocked.

First I want to make it clear that I am very greatful to you for hosting this site where I have learned so much.

Now to go on and respond to your recent post. Yes, I too would prefer to step around the pile and normally do. But someone has to take care of it. It might not be my job or responsibility but when I see it there long enough I just need to take care of it. Distasteful though it may be, dirty shoes, smell and all.

Here, where I live, we were raised to respect our elders and each other and to take care of those who, for one reason or another, needed help. If you didn't you were taken to the woodshed. Didn't take many trips for the lesson to sink in. Calling a fellow, his mother or girlfriend an offensive slur was taken care of directly and the offender learned not to make the same mistake twice, or at least paid a price for it. Ussually all the bull stopped by the time everyone out grew the playground.

Every so often I meet a fellow who I realize just didn't get the snot kicked out of him enough when he was still on the playground. Carmelo is one of those guys.

how about starting a forum for this kinda stuff that way nobody will take it too serious so you know what you are getting into when you go there and you can chose to stay out of the frey, call it the brovado or slander and vent forum and threads that get out of hand can be placed there and people can arrange to meet for punching matches and such, just post what the outcomes are and maybe post videos
