OK, I will probably get banned for this or at least have it taken down. Hunt Africa board is having a get together on Sat. night and AR members would be welcome. You can meet and make some new friends.

Will there by any Super Duper Contributing Plutonium Level Ambassador Founding Father Benefactors there to sign lightly-used safari shirts? Wink

Seriously, I doubt Saeed minds this post as he has stated numerous times that the more quality hunting forums out there, the better for the sport and all involved.

OK guys, I,too, think the more "quality hunting forums" we have the better. What do you think about inviting the "African Forum" guys to share your hospitality room...might make some new friends, it's up to you. If your OK with it I'll invite them..

Here it is guys, your official notice of the AR room number...we will have Room D-168, which is different from the past couple of years. The new room is located downstairs so you have to go down one level to get to it, and will still have a complimentary bar from 2:00 until 4:00 on Friday and Saturday (bar is on us; feel free to tip the bartender). I hope to be able to come by and meet many more of you.

I'll be dadgummed if I didn't write the manager of the Omni and tell them that I had the finest daughter and step-daughter in the world and that they needed a room.... and the lady made it happen. And gave me the DSC rate.

I don't know your dealings with them, but if you ever have a chance to talk to Carolyn Dent or Tamara, her assistant, let them know that one DSC guy really appreciates their efforts. We were going to have to stay in East Egypt or somewhere and the Omni folks came through!

eland slayer the parties this year did not come about. A few of us who did the organizing had busy schedules and grandchildren to visit and so on. But The AR room which DSC is providing will be available to visit and introduce your self to other guys. If the same room it is facing the convention doorways to the left about 100 yds to the left. Doors open for the bar at 2pm to 4pm Friday and Saturday.

I will be there.

Guys seeing as Friday and Saturday are covered how about we do an afternoon on Thursday, and I will sponsor the beer and single malts. I might even throw in some nibbles!! Wink

I will put a thread up with some details of our booth number for you to gravitate towards.

Of course, elevensies every day will be reinstated now that we don't have to stick to black currant cordial we can go back to having some drinks on the stand.

Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Wonderful! I'd really like to discuss a Scotland hunt for me with non-hunting activities for my lady!

We won't arrive until Friday, but I'll see you then.

P.M. sent, too.
