I was wondering the same thing. I sent a pm to retreever, but haven't heard back. The wife said she'd been to the show enough, so I'll be visiting the daughter in Fort Worth, then knocking around solo. May try to shoot some ducks Thursday with a friend that lives up there.

Ok guys...seems as there will be no AR dinner at DSC in January. I know it was a lot of work to set up and these days everyone is really busy.
I think it's great for members to get together and meet, make new friends, renew old friendships and to put faces to the screen names. To that end DSC has provided a meeting room for the past 3 or 4 years for the use of AR members, a quiet place away from the noise of the show floor to gather and visit. Once again in January we will be providing a room for your use (same room as last year). Also, for the past few years DSC has subsidized the AR dinner (money well spent, in my opinion) as thanks for your support. So...since there will be no AR dinner in January, we are providing a bar in the AR room from 2:00 until 4:00 pm on Friday and Saturday in an effort to encourage more members to use the room and get to know one another. Beer, wine and spirits will be on us, but feel free to tip the bartender. Hope to see and meet more of you in January.

Karl

What a fantastic gesture.

For the first time, my husband and I are booked to attend the DSC...just to meet some of my fellow AR members.

Karl's post, says the same room as last year. Can anyone tell me what room that is?

Thanks, D.Nelson

thanks karl,

Once again this year I will be running the morning coffee cart and helping out with security for DSC.

As a DSC life member for only 3 years now I really look forward to the convention. doing the morning coffee if I hear it once I hear it 1000 times " DSC is the best Convention we go to " " thank you so much , all the other conventions we have to pay for this " I could go on and on. It really is a great feeling .

DSC does so many things like this , the room, subsidizing food, coffee , breakfast for those with a booth, ETC and none of this will even make it in a monthly news letter for recognition , its just done. I am really proud to be a Life Member of this origination.

I don't want to leave out "Accurate Reloading" and more importantly Saeed.

Where els even on the net can you find the wealth and the vast amount of information, Knowledge and Experience all in one place ? only one, AR , Their are forums on everything a hunter would be interested in and then some. need advice on " shot placement on ? " " who is the best at ? " ETC , its hear ,, and if its not ,, ASK .

What is the cost of all this , Nothing, free and on top that at no additional cost what so ever ,just for the asking, Saeed sends you a copy of his latest safari in the mail, on Thumb drive, this year drives ! Thanks again for this place thanks for AR.

All done, Just want to express how much I am looking forward to getting to see all of you in January .

As you get off the escalators upstairs, turn to your right (away fro the main entrance to the show) and go down the large hallway. The room should be on your left with a sign out front.

Afater having lived in Texas for a couple of years, this has been my experience of all fellwo Texans I have met.

Come to think of it, this applies equally to all my fellow trap shooting friends that I had met at all the shoots all over the country.

Always ready to help, being unselfish, and enjoying it too.

Very proud to be part of this community indeed!

Thank you all for you do.
