Talk about extremes . . . it went from 120 to 60 in one day. The first four days were really hot, five and six were rainy, cool, and gutty, and seven was hot again.

When I hunted in Zambia's Kafue, ridng back in the dark in the truck got very cold. I would never go to Africa without a rainproof jacket (I used an old oiled Barbour jacket) even though we never saw a speck of rain. As some group or other says, "Be prepared."
