Thanks BLB Sounds like yours went through without a hitch Was the Email you received on 6 October acknowledge that they had received your application? If so how long after you sent it in did they respond by Email? and how long from the time you sent it in did it to take to get your permit?

I sent the app via regular mail on 10/2. They sent me an email on 10/6 confirming receipt. 6 business days later, the permit was issued.

I Just got my CITES Permit to import my Leopard from the USFWS. Total time from when I sent it in was about 2.5 Months. I called and finely got in contact with the lady who does the processing after numerous trys (best time about 8 Washington time), she was helpful and polite. I think that calling and finding out your status helps get you some attention as frustrating as it can be getting in contact with someone at the agency.
