carpediem4570My ex-wife of 25 years sent me packing after the oil crash of 2015. I wasn’t making any money so, I was no good to her.
After the dust settled, my lawyer discovered my wife had been banking her money in a secret bank account, with documents going to her parents house. She ended up having to pay me.
For me, it was about love, for her, it was the money and the house.
Yes, the divorce cost money but, killing someone you love or loved for any reason is just unfathomable. I sure as hell wouldn’t do it.

Use Enough GunI ended up in the hospital recently with a life threatening issue. During the time there, I listened to a pocast on the murder of Bianca Rudolph by her husband, former SCI President Larry Rudolph. As has been stated previously, DATELINE NBC has done a thorough and excellent podcast on Larry Rudolph and the murder of his wife Bianca. It is entitled: "Safari Story" and is dated December 6, 2022 and is 1 hour 22 minutes in length. If you really want to hear firsthand from witnesses in both Africa and the States on this, along with SCI officials, African trackers and lodge managers, Larry's dental office employees, friends of Bianca, Anna Bianca the Rudolph's dentist daughter, Bartenders, defense attorneys, prosecutors, recordings between Larry and his mistress Lori Milliron, etc. etc. etc, this is a MUST LISTEN TO PODCAST.

Some of my old school friends keep disappearing as their numbers come up.
I hope your number stays down at the bottom like mine!
Last month I had to actually DRAG a friend who is 7 years younger than me up a sand dune because he could hardly walk!
His kids and grand kids were in absolute stitches.
When I asked them to bring him to the desert, they said he could hardly walk.
I promised to get him to the top without a 4 wheel car.
And I did.
He invented new swear words on the way up, but he had no sympathizers!
One of his grand kids said "grandpa, you should go to the desert with Uncle Saeed every week!"
He said "you're JOKING! He will KILL me!"
His wife said "He is in better shape than you, so use him as an example!"
The look he gave her could kill!
But all of them had a great time.
And I hope all of us here will contue the same too for many years.

I took my wife on safari the first time in 20017 and I chose it carefully in Masailand, with no tsetses and at the cool time of year. I thought that would be her one and only trip. I went again during the pandemic and she had no interest in that, but in 2023, she wanted to go even though it was in a fly area and I was surprised. She surprised me again this year by saying that she wanted to go again to a fly area. And, she's afraid of small planes, so they will surprise you sometimes.
I think all wives should be tested in Africa!
Mine was chased by elephants, falling in a muddy bog at night, had a leopard walk in front of our hut at night, with the door open, and chased by a black mamba!
Proof positive there is something wrong with her to marry me!

lavacaYeah, I'm Catholic and divorce isn't usually a viable option. Annulments used to be passed out pretty easily, but not so much anymore. But divorce and excommunication is a whole lot more viable an option than killing your spouse.
We have absolutely, positively, the best divorce laws in existence!
When one gets married, an agreed on amount is in the marriage contract.
Half is paid immediately to the wife's family.
The other half becomes due on divorce!
End of story!
Not like the bloody laws in the West that allows a wife to bnecome a hyena the minute she is divorced!

larryshoresWe just watched all three episodes . Without a doubt , Rudolph comes off as a total scumbag. My wife is a hand surgeon. She is skeptical of the croc claim based on the injury in the pictures. I don’t see how Rudolph maintained that lifestyle off of $30,000 a month.
The girlfriend must be a total idiot to have gotten herself into this position . She was not adequately advised prior to testimony . It does seem to me that her sentence was excessive. How does any woman date a married man for 15 years?
The guy who ran for SCI president did not come off very well to me. Seemed like a lot of sour grapes.
I was surprised the PH was not interviewed.

the PomYour attitude to other people's daughters when you are a young man tends to be different from your attitude towards your own daughters!
When she was about 16 my daughter asked what I would do if she had a boyfriend I didn't like. I replied that I would shove a shotgun up his rectum until he begged me to pull the trigger.

When she finally plucked up courage to bring a young man home (a long time later) I took him out on the farm and got him to hold ram lambs all day while I castrated them. I think he got the message!
We are actually very lucky here.
We have a multitude of nationalities.
And every one treats everyone else’s kids as if they were our own.
The kids grow up in a very open, healthy society.
The parents always mention this.
And actually, we have a lot more respect towards women than many other countries.
Some of the silly media reports don’t hold any water here.

The documentary is very interesting. Seems like Larry Rudolph was an imminently hate-able person. One of the oddest parts of the documentary was Dan Foote, the Trump-appointed ambassador to Zambia. Eccentric would be the polite way to describe him, kook would be another.
