Folks I've been doing a lot of TROPHY SHOTS here both on my FREE selection process service and my FOR PAY CLIENTS...
I am grateful with the response as they trickle in
However, today I had some free time to do some of my own AFRICAN SAFARI WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHS.
I have over 2300 images that I've never completed processing from a year and a half ago...I'd better get to it....LOL
It truly brought back some incredible memories!
What would we do without those most cherished photographs caught in a precious moment of time of thrilling adventure. Gazing upon these images today it just seemed like TIME stopped immediately!!!
And suddenly, very quietly... """I went there""", again and again and AGAIN!!!
I went back to those exciting moments and the tranquil peace overwhelmed my soul with instant gratification.
It was very enjoyable to begin to sort through the nummerable images and begin to select my favorites.
I'm very pleased with these images I'll be featuring, I call it...
"The SPIRIT of the WILD"...[Limited Edition]
I will have a limited number of prints made up in high-resolution and will be making them available very soon to AR FORUM members first.
Please email me your inquiries.

aussie21,
Here's what I've learned and hope it helps some.
I am in the camp that says buy into either Nikon or Canon...You're buying into a system...see whose offerings you feel most comfortable with and why...shoot what you can afford...the majority of us will have to make compromises due to costs... spend less on the body and way more on the lense...great glass is IMPORTANT.
I'd rather shoot with an entry level dlsr and great glass than an expensive body and mediocre glass.
Practice, practice, practice...
Know that the best gear in the world will not give you the greatest of images rather it is ALL in the SKILL level of the photog.
Everyone must start somewhere...it's fun and frustrating all at the same time as there is definitely a steep learning curve if you demand the best quality from your images.
Know that serious photography is what I call... The 200% GAME
100% skill getting the shot in-camera
100% skill in post-processing
Don't expect professional quality images simply from buying expensive gear, one must play the 200% GAME...
It is intense and a whole lotta fun and always learning new things!
If you need more help give me a pm...
Hope this helps some.
