The morning breeze comes slithering up the Zambezi like a twenty foot rock python. The heat of the new day air seeps into your skin, and into your soul. Your bare legs warn of another blistering day in the African sun.

The poor excuse for African instant coffee does little to wake you from a nightmarish sleep of wounded lion, a charge from a roguish elephant bull, and the hooked horns of a blood covered Cape buffalo intent on revenge.

A blurred stare about the tent through the dull yellow glow from a much abused old Coleman lantern reveals a shadow of your Sabatti 450 NE.

A rifle that saved you for another day’s walk in the sun. Saved you from the murderous intentions of that old irate buffalo cow. The rifle has lost much of its protective bluing, much like that lantern loosing all but a few traces of its original Hunter green paint.

The coffee does help to remind that the coming day will again be tamed with the old double and the scratched and scabbed legs saved by your once new Air Gaiters.

Air Gaiters. They have saved many a pint of blood from being left on the thorns of the African bush. Along with a genuine Will elephant wallet the day is faced head on.

Remember those days when the sun came washing down upon the valley like molten steel.

And now Air Gaiters are available in a variety of fabrics and colors. Please be a part of Will’s Air Gaiter Field Test Team as the new Air Gaiter styles are launched for the upcoming safari season. Please contact Jeff Wemmer for prices and availability.

Here is a sampling of the new Air Gaiters for the grueling conditions of the African sun and thorn bush.

Please get back on your meds. Your foot is turning blue.....

Jeff is a smart business man. I doubt he would touch that

leg except to "pull it"

Good one, LOL

Air Gaiter and thongs (or flip flops in UK speak)
are the staple hunting gear of Australian's. !!!

Will, I can put up with your rants about Single Triggers etc on DR's but shaved legs, what is the world coming to Big Grin

Maybe you should move to Montana to be with the rest of the "boys". Wink

I was laughing, even before opening the thread. My immediate thought was, "This is gonna be a good one!"

C'mon Jeff, I'm sure Will would be willing to model these for your catalog.

I don't know Will (probably fortunately), but he sure doesn't seem to lack self-confidence. I'm in his camp. I've worn air gaiters on ten safaries, and my wife covers her face and turns away when she sees my thorn torn lower legs. I tell her it's just part of the safari experience. A badge of courage (or idiocy). Take your pick.

If you look closely (preferably not on a full stomach) at the middle toe, looks to me like there is a hint of red toenail polish that the model forgot to remove before posing for the pictures. The model has been known to wear skirts too so not sure why a little nail polish would surprise me.
