I always try to use enough gun but then sometimes a brainshot works just as good.

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......
"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

Kayaker, maybe you havent been north of this sign then

, it says Tropic of Capricorn on the other side in Large letterrs (coming from South) and Steenkokskeerkrinng in Large letters on this side (coming from north)
We also stopped at this sign last year and had some photos when we hunted with Frederik.

Safari-HuntYes, we did get some gold the kids struck gold rush as soon as they had the idea in their head that if were lucky and it is quiet the guide would give them a chance.
Most of the gold panned these days is only fine dust but he says that after heavy storms they get some luck with heavier pieces. That is why gold is mined and not panned anymore these days in the area. Incidenstly the biggest nugget found in the river and surroundings was a nugget weighing in at 1.7kg
