Hope this is fun Confused I used some pretty poor pictures to make things tougher and covered many decades. Not looking for all the names in all photos but there are a number of photos with two and at least one photo with up to three recognizable figures. Some will be a piece of cake and some are damn tough but I'd say naming 20 or more would be A+! Big Grin

It is a good thing us hunters love pictures of ourselves. Smiler

Yes, I recognize about half of them. Tomorrow I'll try to post one that might have you guessing.

Also:
Warren Page
Harry Manners
Cottar brothers
Tony Sanchez

And a couple others I've forgotten already!

Nick,

I'd have done better, but: (i) I didn't study; (ii) I got the flu and missed that day; (iii) I lost my textbook; (iv) my dog ate my homework; and . . . (v) there were too many damned bowhunters!

I do wonder, though, if I didn't see Phil Percival in there somewhere . . .

KINO - you may have seen the photo in a hunting magazine but he is not generally known as a hunter, rather something else.

If you did, he was probably seated in a tent somewhere. Detested walking, that fellow.

I recognized John Kingsley Heath with Jack O'connor and Ionides with his custom hat..

I remember when Heath was mauled by a lion and I have never forgot his face or beret..I was a young boy when I read the story in a hunting magazine...

That may have been Jim Corbett with the tiger...Read his book Maneaters of the Kama

Pope & Young
