Ha ! Fascinating photos ! And you think that sometimes guides/PH's are under pressure to produce a good trophy .. can you imagine the stress that Hermann Goering's guide felt ?

Rich, There was a PH working for Trevor Shaw/Zulu Nyala Safaris in Natal in 1987 by the name of Terry Irwin. From the photo, I'd say he is the same guy. I also recall seeing a reference to a "Terry Irwin Safaris" operating out of Zimbabwe sometime in the early 90's.

Kathi...you beat me to the guess of Percival...I just looked in Prentice Grey's book and spotted a picture of Philip Percival that looks an aweful lot like the guy on the left in pic #33. The father/son team in pic #34 looks like it could be the Roosevelt era, but too skinny to be Teddy and Kermit!! Cheers, Canuck ps: MRLexma...I am taking credit for Wooters! He's the only one I spotted after you rifled off the first 20 or so!
