Sorry for being such a dick but I can't believe you posted something so asinine.

It's okay, you can't help it. Probably why you ran off to Wyoming as a single parent.

No wonder the education system is in such poor shape.

When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere.

NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR.

I have come to understand that in hunting, the goal is not the goal but the process.

Steve, you and I are often on the same side of issues concerning hunting. I just tend to be too abrasive when I disagree.... (The same can be said for Gatogordo and myself).

I agree that I was confused by Gato's complaint. But now it makes sense.....

Jerry, thank you for having my back but I really didn't see it as an insult. I actually chuckled when I read Gato's last post with the intended insult(which is rare as it takes little to get my BP up...) I really don't understand how being a "single parent" or "running off to Wyoming" can be an insult. Maybe Gato can explain it(please type slowly).

THE BOTTOM LINE: I would be happy to buy you(Jerry), Steve Ahrenberg or Gatogordo a drink if I have the pleasure to meet up with you. Heck, if any of you three happen to pass through SW Wyoming I would be happy to invite you to my home for dinner(just give me half a days notice so that I can defrost an elk roast.)

Sometimes we disagree, but we are all on the same side! BTW, I am only dick on AR. Well, that is usually true.

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

I'm going to pipe in here and upset a few with my "warped Aussie humour". The guy obviously ignored advice. We have lots of Chinese residents here in Australia and they are a lovely bunch of people. We also have thousands of Chinese visitors, every year, that make the headlines in the newspapers. Smash repairers and panel beaters here in Aus love the Chinese---- they keep 'em employed. BUT --- the poor guy killed by the elephant would be considered a "legend" back in his home--- with an annual road toll of 68,000---(Wikipedia) this guy's death hits the headlines.
