Folks,

I'll be off to hunt with the Duckworth's 14 Sept.-13 Oct. I have not been in Zim since '96 and I'm sort of interested in seeing what difference 11 years has made. We'll be hunting in the Forestry areas and the Save which I've never ben too as yet. I'm also very interested in seeing Barry's Coutada 9 in Mozambique. Full report and picks when I return.

Mark

How long in the Save? I am supposed to get there on Sept 17. If you are still there maybe I will see you and say howdy. Just tell Garry or Neil you want to meet the Texan that hunts lion with Leon and drinks too much. Good luck.

"Meet the Texan that drinks too much". Isn't that redundant! LOL (from another proud Texan, btw)

Mark, good luck, stay safe and bag some monsters! Let's hear a fantastic report when you get back.

smarterthanu,

We have a very open schedule. We are hunting in the Foresty area first and when we finish driving to the Save for an overnight. We then are off to Mozambique and then back to the Save. I don't know how long we will be in any one place. BUT I'll ask about you when I arrive.

Ahmed,

I'm kind of a collector budget providing so I'm mostly looking for plains game I don't have. I have eland but not the Livingstone's in Zim and Moz. I have four of the busbuck but not the Limpopo or Southern found on the Save. I also may have a chance at some of the litte guys such as grysbok, suni, red duiker and klipspringer. The most difficult may be trying to upgrade some trophies I have such as sable and waterbuck. I don't expect a big bag at all but it will be interesting to see three areas that are new to me.

I do not know what it is like down were Duckworth is in the Save but were Leon is Big Eland are practicly pests. Big bushbuck are definately in the area also. Grysbok are plentiful as are klipspringer. Grysbok will be hard to get shots on since grass conditions are so good. Buffalo are plentiful and there are a lot of real big ones. There are a lot of waterbuck also.
