Out of sheer curiosity I'd like to see some of the "hides" you spent time in the African bush and started this thread to see a compilation of them and hoping you would take the time to share.
I'm in the process of starting a Wildlife Photography business and I need to construct a couple of "natural hides" to fit 2-3 people on this large private property.
I'm sure we may see some interesting ones!

Here's one. Believe it or not, there is a pop-up camo blind under the grass that accomodates a hunter, a P.H. in comfortable folding chairs and even a shooting bench rest type table.
JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.

Here's one of my leopard blinds. This particular leopard had been baited the safari before ours and had seen the blind, so he kept circling down wind of the blind before hitting the bait. They removed the blind, but we re-built this one when I was there (large leopard, worth a try). It was completely open on the back with a trail leading about 100 yards back from it. The plan was to listen for the cat and sneak up to the blind when he was there. Solid plan except the cat never came in, so after 3 nights of this we moved on.
