| That is a great looking mount, especially when viewed from the side. And a fine trophy too. |

| Jeff,
Very nice! I really like the pose. My Limpopo Bushbuck is also 14". Its my favorite trophy so far (I've been to SA twice) and I'm very proud of him. In my book, FWIW, any decent Bushbuck is a real trophy. I know you're proud of him and you will have great memories every time that you look at him.
Congrats and thanks for sharing the photo.... -Bob F. |

| That's a fine trophy. Your idea of having him mounted that way was a good one. |

| A great animal with clean lines and poise that not all species have. It is a grand idea to have it immortalised in the sneaking position, instead of having a roomful of animals with arched necks like dressage horses. |

| Thanks eveyone for the nice comments. Bushbuck hunting was a lot of fun! And bushbuck meatloaf is right up there with Eland. Now I'm saving to get my waterbuck mounted. I'm on the "taxidermy - 4 year plan". It's going to take me 4 years to able to afford to get all my beasties mounted. In the meantime, I'm going back to collect more Jeff |

| Jeff,
That is a beautiful mount and a beautiful trophy. The bushbuk I got in Natal was 13" and was the last animal I shot before I left. I really like your mount and wish I had seen it before I had mine done. Your taxidermist did a beautiful job. I had 8 heads done all at once. Unfortunately, my wife wanted my North American trophies out of the living room and wanted it devoted to African animals. I assured her that they would not crossbreed but she ended up getting her way. It did allow me to have trophies in more rooms, like the family room and the office/den/catchall. |

| Jeff, A handsome trophy! A lot of hunters who never have hunted them realize what a challenging hunt they are. Most of the folks I know who shoot them do it as more of an opportunity animal, but not as a selective hunt.
Good Show!
